Copper Cathodes

Copper cathode is the primary raw material input for the production of copper rod for the wire and cable industry. Copper is also used in the production of brass, copper tube, copper sheet products, and found in over 450 alloys.

Quality	Grade A copper must conform to the chemical composition of one of the following standards: BS EN 1978:2022 – Cu-CATH-1 GB/T 467-2010 – Cu-CATH-1 ASTM B115-10 (2021) – cathode Grade 1

4) The Sulphur content shall be determined on a cast sample
